Los Establos Community is a haven from the harried rush of urban living.

Come home to the serenity of towering trees and waving grasses that provide sanctuary for the spirit as well as a sanctuary for the native plants and animals that share the untamed beauty of your prairie home.

Your home in Los Establos offers the comforts and convenience of modern living in the midst of a private nature preserve open only to community members and invited guests. Your neighborhood views offer more open space than houses. And your neighbors share your love of the outdoors.

The Concept

Los Establos Community is a gated, restricted access community with just 100 homes on 1000 acres. Each 10-acre lot within the community's nature preserve includes a 2-3 acre homesite. The remaining communal land is in a permanent conservation easement that protects its natural beauty forever.

The conservation land shared by community residents includes prairie, woodland, creeks and ponds. These areas are set aside for walking, riding, birding, fishing, and other outdoor fun.

You can be assured that the homes surrounding yours will fit into the natural landscape as beautifully as your own home does, with no jarring commercial or sub-standard buildings within view of your property.

Blue BonnetsLos Establos Community is also a working traditional Texas ranch, with longhorn cattle grazing the fields and an equestrian center with stables and arena for residents' horses.
